This forum is intended for Eye Care & Health Care Professionals and people working in allied industries, to share thoughts, ideas and observations primarily centred on the ocular surface, contact lenses and myopia control. We welcome contributions that will benefit the professions, industry and our patients.

This website may be viewed by the general population, patients and others not directly involved in eye care, therefore please keep this in mind and put thought into comments before they are posted. If your comments are viewed outside the eye care profession we would like to think they portrayed a positive impression of us all and the good work we do.

2. To maintain a “clean” discussion forum, The Forum moderators may decide to remove messages, material or parts thereof at their sole discretion if considered to be offensive or contrary to forum rules.

3. Discussion material on the The Forum is for your personal use only.

If you participate in a discussion, you are responsible for ensuring that any material you post to the The Forum (e.g. text, images, or other multimedia content) does not violate or infringe upon the copyright, patent, trademark or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third party, and is posted with the permission of the owner of such rights.

6. To participate in The Forum we may ask you to state your professional role, company and professional registration number (if appropriate), this will not be made public. Refusal to do this if asked may mean we will remove your registration.

7. Discussion about specific products or services is not prohibited, as long as unfounded criticism, or praise, does not take place. If discussing commercial aspects, it would be appreciated if the author could declare any interests somewhere in the thread.

Here up to 200 words on new launched products or services can be posted - simply register and post. Postings will generate mention in my Linkedin feed to my 4,200 ECP/HCP connections and publishing as 'Latest News' on 650+ of my web pages in the Professional Section, the site attracts around 4,000 ECP/HCP views per month. Postings that contain results from clinical trials are particularly welcomed, either in the form of summaries, attachments or web site links. It is preferable cost comparison are left out, other than that the normal rules apply. Postings will remain live for a minimum of 2 months.



Remember your posting should be more focussed on Eye Care and Health Care professionals not patients.

Visitors to The Forum are encouraged to interact with the manufacturer/distributor/person offering service, with comments and/or asking questions, just as would happen at a conference/exhibition stand.

If you are looking for a position you can post in 'optometrists/DOs/CLOs or those in industry seeking posts'. If you have a vacancy you can post in 'ECPs or those in industry - posts available'. You will need to register on The Forum first before being able to post, on publication I will post on Linkedin to my 5,000 ECP/HCP connections thereby creating interest in your posting. This website receives around 72,000 ECP/HCP views per month. To make direct contact easier I would suggest including possibly a phone number, certainly an email address. When you have secured a /filled a placement available please edit or delete your posting thereby helping others.

Future web based or face-to-face educational events can be posted here. These can be single events or courses. Single/small scale events may be free-of-charge, larger/series of may carry a nominal charge of just £65. Email adpconsultancy@gmail.com for details. After that you can register and post.
