How Supplied
Dietary supplement oral Softgel fish gelatine coated capsules (x 60/carton).
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. Normally, 2 capsules once a day or 1 capsule twice a day with a small amount of water in the middle of a meal. "To be taken for 2 - 3 months, then to be stopped for 1 month, resume only if necessary".
Formulation
Fish Gelatine coated capsules containing:, Fish Oil with Omega-3 422mg (including DHA 80mg & EPA 122mg), Glycerol, Refined Soybean Oil, Colloidal Silica, Alpha Lipoic Acid 100mg, Borage Oil 236mg (including GLA 40mg), Vitamin C 60mg, Vitamin E 12mg, Micro-Encapsulated Zinc Sulphate, Sunflower Lecithin, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Copper Chlorophylin, Patent Blue, Quinoline Yellow, Water.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, if required.
Indications
Dry Eye. Management option that can be used in conjunction with other methods. Ocular surface inflammation and oxidative stress bought on by Dry Eye. "Protects against sensations of Dry Eye"
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. See Notes: 1. NOT TO BE USED WITH ANY HX OF FISH ALLERGY, INCLUDING SHELL FISH. If pt is pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, taking any medication or has a medical condition recommend doctor consult before taking - EDDB. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
None stated. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP - EDDB.
