How Supplied
Sterile drops (0.4ml) in single-use (x 30 or x 5) plastic vials.
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. Generally, 1 drop on each eye two to four times a day with or without Contact Lenses.. After instillation pt to blink a few times. For extra comfort: Pt may place 1 or 2 drops on each side of each lens before wearing.
Formulation
Sterile Preservative Free solution containing:, Carmellose Sodium 0.5% w/v, Sodium Chloride, Calcium Chloride Dihydrate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate, Sodium Lactate Solution, Sodium Hydroxide, Hydrochloric Acid, Water for Injection.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, if required.
Indications
Dry Eye. "To moisten and lubricate in cases of dryness and tired eyes". CL Wear: "To lubricate and hydrate the lens before insertion and removal and during wear".
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Pt to wait 30 minutes between other drop applications. Store between 1C - 25C. Keep away from sunlight. Discard single use unit after opening. Pregnancy/lactation - pt to be advised by ECP/HCP. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
Occasional: Transient burning, stinging - if symptoms persist pt to stop use and seek advice. Blurring of vision - pt to wait until vision is clear before driving or operating machinery. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP.
