How Supplied
Sterilised preservative free eye drops (10ml) in plastic bottle. CE Medical Device.
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. Generally 1 drop on each affected eye as often as required. "Pumping of bottle may be required at first usage or if not used for some time".
Formulation
Sterile solution containing:, Sodium Hyaluronate 0.24%, Sterile Water, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Disodium Phosphate Dodecahydrate, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate-Dihydrate.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, prime indication.
Indications
Contact Lens Discomfort. Dry Eye. ".... helps wetting and rewetting of both soft and hard contact lenses during wear"
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Discard 24 weeks after opening. Store between 1C - 25C. "Use with severe corneal damage may result in calcium phosphate deposits". Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
Rare: Local allergic reaction - pt to discontinue use. Calcium phosphate corneal deposits - see Contra-Indications/Cautions. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP
