How Supplied Sterilised clear colourless eye drops (Alomide Allergy 5ml or Alomide 5ml or 10ml) in plastic bottle with tamper evident screw cap. |

Dosing For adults and children age 4 years and above. ECP/HCP to advise. Generally 1 or 2 drops on each eye four times per day. |

Formulation Sterile Preservative Free solution containing:, Lodoxamide 0.1% (as lodoxamide trometamol), Benzalkonium Chloride, Mannitol, Hypromellose, Sodium Citrate Dihydrate, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Disodium Edetate, Tyloxapol, Hydrochloric Acid and/or Sodium Hydroxide (to adjust pH), Purified Water. |

Indications Allergic conjunctivitis. "For the relief and treatment of the eye symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis". |

Contra-Indications/Cautions Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Attention is drawn to this products P(Alomide Allergy)/POM (Alomide) classification. If no improvement in symptoms after 2 days re-evaluate use. The pt should not use the drops continuously for more than 14 days without checking with HCP/ECP before continuing. Not to be stored above 25C. Discard bottle 4 weeks after opening. Pt to wait between 5 minutes between other drop applications. Not for use with Contact Lenses, Contact Lenses can be worn 15 minutes after applying drops. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB. |

Adverse Reactions Side effects: Temporary slight discomfort, burning or stinging. Very common (affects more than 1 user in 10): Discomfort. Common (affects 1 to 10 users in 100): Blurred vision, dryness, itching, increased, tear production, redness. Uncommon (affects 1 to 10 users in 1,000) : Pain, swelling, tired eyes, white deposits on the eye surface (cornea), feeling of something in the eye, discharge, irritation, eyelid scales. Rare (affects 1 to 10 users in 10,000): Damage or scarring to eye surface (cornea), inflammation, eye allergy, impaired vision, eyelid swelling. Pt may also experience effects in other areas of the body including: Uncommon: Dizziness, headache, nausea, a feeling of warmth or flushing. Rare: Drowsiness, bad taste, dryness of the nose, sneezing, stomach discomfort, rash. Not known (cannot be estimated from the available data) : Abnormal increase in heart rate. If any of the side effects get serious, or pt notices any side effects not listed in this leaflet, they should tell doctor or pharmacist. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP |

Product information
Not every product may be listed, or have full data. Every effort is being made to fill in the gaps as soon as possible.
