How Supplied
Sterile preservative free drops in single-day use (0.5 ml) resealable plastic vials in (x 20/carton) sealed pouches.
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. "1 drop in the eye one or more times, according to necessity"
Formulation
Sterile Preservative Free solution containing:, Sodium Hyaluronate 0.2%, Monobasic Sodium Phosphate, Dibasic Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Chloride, Water for injections.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, if required.
Indications
Dry Eye. "The lubricant, moisturizing and protective qualities of Sodium Hyaluronate relieve irritation, dryness, burning and foreign body sensation due to environmental elements (wind, sun, smoke, dry air), visual stress (excessive light and prolonged use of computers) or mechanical factors (contact lenses use, after ocular surgery), providing a long lasting relief. Considering the absence of preservatives in the formulation, the medical device can be used also in presence of contact lenses".


Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Wait at least 15 minutes between other drop applications. Discard vial 12 hours after first opening. Store below 25C. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
If irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP - EDDB. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP. "After administration, in rare cases, a slight temporary blurring of vision may be observed due to the viscosity of the solution; it is therefore advisable to wait until the blurring has disappeared before any activity that requires clear vision". If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP.
