How Supplied
Sterilised eye spray (17ml) in plastic bottle with PIL containing 25cm measure.
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. "After removing protection cap and when using for first time pt to push down on nozzle a few times spraying on arm or in the air". To be held 25cm from closed eye lids. Spray 1 - 2 times onto closed eyes then blink. "Can be used several times a day"
Formulation
Sterile Preservative Free emulsion containing:, Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerol, Citrate-Borate Buffers.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, if required.
Indications
Dry Eye. ..."relieves dryness and irritation in the eyes, the eyelids, and the skin around the eyes".
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. "Consult ... doctor or pharmacist before .. use of this product if ... pregnant or breast feeding". Not to be sprayed into open eyes. Spray at a distance of about 25cm. Store between 5C - 25C. Store away from heat sources. "Do not use if previously frozen or stored in hot conditions for a long time. "Protect from direct sunlight. Use 10 minutes before/after other eye medications and/or personal care products/make-up. Discard 3 months after opening. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
If irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP - EDDB. "If the spray get directly in the eye, it may cause temporary uncomfortable feelings". If needed, rinse the eyes with clean water". If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP.
