We can all agree that myopia control is a fantastic tool in our clinical toolbelt and a great proactive option for parents. But, the cost of treatment can make it unobtainable for some.

At the Centre for Eye Research Ireland, we have myopia control clinical trials for contact lenses and spectacles actively recruiting young myopes. This can open the door for patients who otherwise may not have access to treatment. These trials come at no cost to the patient, and the visit schedules align with routine eyecare schedules, so they are not overly arduous. Every appointment and all treatment (contact lenses or spectacles) are entirely free of charge.

If you have any questions, would like to refer a patient for consideration, or would like to pass the contact to a parent, you can reach us by email at mosaic@tudublin.ie. It is open to everyone nationwide, with appointments in Grangegorman in Dublin, Ireland.

Please feel free to share this post with your network so we can reach those who need it; thank you.
