Myopia is the most common ocular disorder and is generally the result of abnormal elongation of the eye. DVA can be improved with spectacles, contact lenses and refractive surgery, however these do not address the underlying abnormal enlargement of the eye. Myopia places substantial burdens both on individuals and society and increases the risk of eye disease later in life. Can SCLs play a role in myopia control? This 2022 presentation includes latest five- and six-year data, data on how many days wear to get an effect and a new revolutionary approach heading our way this year
