It has long been a conundrum facing a contact lens prescriber, when assessing a patient with low cylinder corrections, whether to select a best sphere or a toric lens initially. This small scale in practice clinical trial may offer an insight into the positive and negative outcomes of the selection process and therefore enable the ECP to make a more rational decision.
